It comes equipped with a larger charging handle and bolt release to accommodate easier manipulations when wearing gloves or while in adverse conditions. One of the Super Black Eagle 3 Waterfowl Performance Shop's more innovative features is a lengthened and polished forcing cone. This increases velocity by reducing the sudden friction encountered with a short forcing cone, and mitigates recoil by reducing the friction as the load enters the shotguns bore. The lengthened and polished forcing cone also significantly diminishes pellet deformation and as the shock of suddenly constricting the shot load is eliminated - this effect similarly delivers a more even and dense pattern. Other new features of the Super Black Eagle 3 Waterfowl Performance Shop include a set of three Rob Roberts Triple Threat choke tubes, which were test fired and computer analyzed to confirm extremely consistent and dense shot patterns.
In addition to its new and exclusive upgrades, the Super Black Eagle 3 Waterfowl Performance Shop is outfitted with many of the same great features that made the SBE 3 platform so popular. These include the clean-burning Inertia Driven System, which never requires adjusting, cycles consistently in adverse conditions, and easily handles everything from light field loads to 3½" magnums. From a cleanliness and speed perspective, gas systems simply cannot compete -- whereas Inertia-Driven Benelli shotguns are known to fire 500,000+ rounds and still function without flaw. In addition, the Super Black Eagle 3 Waterfowl Performance Shop is equipped with Benelli's proprietary BE.S.T surface treatment for maximum rust/corrosion resistance, and the recoil absorbing Comfort Tech 3 stock.
