The camera features a 100' detection range and 0.25-second trigger speed, and captures 22MP photos and 1080p video with sound. The Defender Pro Scout Max Extreme transmits photos or video over the Verizon or AT&T 4G LTE network to your phone running the easy-to-use mobile app. The paid month-to-month data plans require no contract. You can also use an SD memory card to 512GB to store images.
The 120' infrared LED flash has settings for Power Save, Long Range, and Fast Motion; Browning's Illuma-Smart technology adjusts the flash on individual shots for optimal lighting. The camera is capable of capturing up to eight images at a time in Multi-Shot or Rapid Fire modes, ensuring that you don't miss any action. Set the interval between trigger events anywhere from 1 second to 60 minutes to avoid filling up your memory card with photos of the same animal. Timelapse Plus lets you cover a full day's activity, yet still takes photos when triggered by movement. Your images will be stamped with time, date, moon phase, temperature, barometric pressure, and camera ID. The camera runs for up to one year in the field on 8 AA batteries, and can also be powered by an optional 12V power source.
