Franchi's Affinity 3 Compact is a short-stock, 24-inch or 26-inch version of the full size Affinity 3. The buttstock offers a 12 3/8-inch length-of-pull, to which, 1/4" spacers can be added. As a young shooter grows, so grows the gun. When appropriate, a full size buttstock can be fitted to the Affinity 3 Compact.

So far, very disappointed
Posted by SteveIts a cute little shotgun and fit my wife well, for which i was grateful. Upon opening the box and putting it together i was a bit offput by the amount of plastic and the very poor, if polyglot, instruction "manual". Further, the magazine spring is the strongest i've ever seen, and it takes a lot of effort to load shells in the magazine. But these are minor concerns. Of greater importance: even though the stock lop is shortened, the stock length from right hand grip to trigger is inappropriately long; i find it uncomfortable although so far my wife has not complained. This would be amenable to a new stock, if we keep this gun. The reason for one star, however, is its complete unwillingness to cycle the shell in the magazine (e.G., complete ftf) with standard clay or field loads. I am going to break it down again, relube it, and then shoot some 3 inch magnums that have gusto. But if i can't get it to function properly soon its back to the factory (i dread going down this rabbit hole). If i had to do it again i would have gotten a dbl barrel 20 ga and recoil pad for her instead of this single shot.
