The LeverRevolution ammunition line is rightly named, as it has actually revolutionized the use of lever-action rifles. Pointed bullets from tubular magazines did not exist before and therefore completely unusual external ballistic performance is possible. The FTX and MonoFlex bullets also achieve a reliable effect through controlled expansion and high residual bullet weight.
The Hornady MonoFlex bullet is constructed like the GMX bullet, but with a soft plastic tip for tubular magazines in lever-action rifles. It follows the tradition of Hornady's excellent hunting bullets and delivers this performance in lead-free. The 95%Cu/5%Zn alloy means that no intermediate cleaning or re-zeroing is necessary when used with most other ammunition. Reliable inflation, almost 100% residual weight and the best external ballistics thanks to the plastic tip ensure a high level of hunter satisfaction. The .45-70 Government was already in service as a black powder cartridge in 1873. With modern loads, all the game in the world has been killed with it. Especially with the FTX bullet, it still has a phenomenal instantaneous effect on all hoofed game and works reliably up to 150m.
