The Code Black Duck is arguably the worlds most versatile tube. Imagine a single tube that will get it done in everything from the Arkansas timber, Eastern Shore Geese, all the way Georgia Dove Field and still hold it's own on a Missouri Longbeard.
The Code Black Duck's versatility is not only in it's patented design, but in it's construction. Our patented stud ring design shortens the shot string immensely...so when you hit your quarry you hit em with the entire load. Expect a tighter pattern similar to a "full". Effective distances vary from load and pellet size...but experienced hands should expect clean kills at distances most would consider lucky.
Crafted from titanium infused 17-4 aircraft quality stainless-steel you should see a lifetime of serious usage. If you're like most of us and are looking for simple but effective the Code Black Duck is the tube for you.
GOOSE
Patternmaster's CODE BLACK GOOSE tubes will extend out the end of your barrel 1 1/2 inches and has an effective range out to 70 yards. The difference between the Patternmaster CODE BLACK DUCK and Patternmaster CODE BLACK GOOSE is the length the tube sticks out the barrel. (DUCK=1" vs. GOOSE=1 ½") The added length is to accommodate a 3 ½" shell and still achieve a Full pattern. You will see a patterns similar to a Full constriction choke on paper with a 2 ¾" 3' and 3 ½" shell, but because of the patented "stud ring" inside the tube, there is a much shorter shot string. This shorter shot string will allow more shot on target all at once so your down range energy is sure to kill instead of cripple. CODE BLACK GOOSE tubes only come in a Non-Reflective Bronze titanium coating and are ported. Patternmaster tubes are made of Carpenter Custom 630 (aircraft quality) 17-4ph stainless steel and are heat treated to the optimum level for best performance.
DECOY
Patternmaster CODE BLACK DECOY tubes will extend out the end of your barrel about 3/8 of an inch and has an effective range of 15 to 40 yards. You will see a pattern similar to an Improved Cylinder constriction choke on paper, but because of the patented "stud ring" inside the tube, there is a much shorter shot string. This shorter shot string will allow more shot on target all at once so your down range energy is sure to kill instead of cripple. Our DECOY tubes can be used with steel or other non-toxic ammunition as well as lead, and with 2 ¾" 3" and 3 ½" shells. CODE BLACK DECOY tubes only come in a Non-Reflective Bronze color and are not ported but have a knurled end for hand tightening.

TURKEY
Patternmaster's CODE BLACK TURKEY combines constriction with our patented "wad-stripping" technology that increases down range energy for greater knock down power. Plus, the unique "canoe porting" reduces recoil so hunters are back on target faster and the porting allows the use of ammunition containing a "flight control" wad where normal "ported" tubes and barrels are not recommended. CODE BLACK TURKEY will extend out the end of your barrel one and a half inches and tubes have been designed with a 0.075 constriction from barrel diameter for an expected Extra Full pattern and effective range between muzzle and 70 yards. Recommended with ammunition designed for turkey hunting such as Lead, Copper and Lead combination, and Hevi-Shot. CODE BLACK tubes are made from Carpenter Custom 630, aircraft quality, 17-4 Stainless Steel and have a Non-Reflective BRONZE Titanium coating.
SNOW:
CODE BLACK SNOW PLOW tubes will extend out the end of your barrel 1½" and have an effective range out to 70 yards. The only difference between the Patternmaster CODE BLACK SNOW PLOW and Patternmaster CODE BLACK GOOSE is the color. Patternmaster applies a StrongBond White Powder Coat to the end of the SNOW PLOW tube to better conceal the tube during the fun, fast paced, Snow Goose mass casualty event.
