Holosun He507c- Gr- X2 Pistol Green Dot Sight With Acss Vulcan Reticle

The acss vulcan reticle is great for a handgun/pistol or on a pcc/rifle setup. The acss is more designed for a rifle or pcc setup, however you can also choose/select whether it has the chevron and circle or just the chevron alone. On a pcc/rifle setup the circle and chevron would probably be preferred for faster acquisition at a 65moa range. The chevron is about right for the 2moa range. I choose green for this purchase and it has made a big difference from the old fashion red dot. Having astigmatism it helps with clarity, as most red dots to me come off as a giant fireball. Easy install for those with an rmr cut slide. Find your set of screws, this does not come with any hardware. No mounting screws or picatinny rise for alternative mounting options. Nonetheless, this was a very affordable and wise purchase with simmons sporting goods. Thank you!

Really enjoying this on my canik rival. Auto brightness, shake awake, green chevron, and the solar panel make this a really nice sight for my pistol. Plus the large outer ring makes it super easy to acquire the center.

Decent for the price. Better than cheaper options

I installed the holosun and got acquainted with the controls. It is easy to set up, easy to zero (comes with a proprietary tool for that) and i was quick to get used to focusing on my target/chevron instead of focusing on my front sight. Btw, no co witness with this sight! it is as intuitive as it gets to locate the chevron, and practice makes you quicker to acquire your target. I could not be more pleased, it's a major upgrade over the iron sights, certainly a keeper!

It has everything that people are raving about. But a couple of things. Forgot about my astigmatism. When i tried out optics i was using my contacts. My shooting glasses cause a double image. Mounted on a s&w mp9, which i bought for its narrow width. The optics are just two hairs wider than i prefer.

Shipping was top notch! received the item right away! the green circle around the vulcan reticle is a great tool to get a rapid sight picture of the target. Definitely a great optics for both self defense and competition pistols.
