The Taurus TX22 Compact is a great way to get out and enjoy the field of competition or just have fun doing some .22 LR plinking. This pistol is built on the solid TX22 pistol platform, but in a smaller compact package. Allowing for a capacity of 13 rounds, more than most .22 semi autos, the TX22 Compact allows you to conduct effective training drills with the added benefit of .22 LR ammunition's low price point. The slide includes a set of iron sights, but if you want something a bit more modern, this pistol also includes the Taurus Optic Ready Option which allows for the addition of Shield RMSc and Holosun K footprint micro reflex sights. All of these features combine to create a compact, high capacity modern rimfire pistol that is ready for Steel Challenge competitions, target shooting and even personal protection.
