Simmons called asking if there was another ffl close by. I informwd them.Of another local ffl. Simmons called and had my tranfer set and delivered. Product i purchased is very nice.

First sub-compact that i have owned - it sure feels different in the hand from the 1911, star bm, or m70a, and it will take a while to get used to the composite feel versus the solid steel feel of the others. I have to give 5 stars more so to simmons sporting goods though - absolutely no problems, no extra hidden fees, price was right, shipping was free and f a s t.

Posted by MikeI was looking for a multi-caliber revolver as a backup home defense weapon. This taurus 692 fits the bill since it can use 38, 357 and 9mm. I've read the criticisms of taurus brand but this revolver has, so far, functioned flawlessly. And while not a small firearm, this 2 inch barrel version is compact enough for concealed carry.

With the cost of the firearm, the cost of shipping to virginia, and a ffl cost of $25 i still got it for less than any of my local firearms stores. I purchased this for my 22yr old daughter as her 1st handgun. She was excited!
