The Model 307 Range XP is built on a 2-lug cully cylindrical action which is compatible with many aftermarket Remington 700 accessories, which makes it the most open platform Weatherby has ever created. Inside the action is a three-piece bolt which is designed to allow for tool-less disassembly, making it simple to field strip your bolt if necessary. The bolt also features an M16 style extractor so you can expect very reliable extraction and ejection. A lightweight synthetic stock with a vertical grip offers a sturdy base for your next hunt. This stock includes an adjustable cheekpiece and adjustable length of pull to help shooters of various sizes to customize the rifle to fit their needs. Additionally, the stock includes texturing on the grip and the forend to ensure you always have a firm grip, even in inclement weather. Other standard features such as AICS magazine compatibility, an adjustable TriggerTech Field trigger and a fluted barrel make the Weatherby 307 Range XP a top tier hunting rifle for the modern hunter.
