These new models are outfitted with a 20-inch barrel and a rifle-length gas system, maintaining the Small-Frame Autoloading Rifle's compact and lightweight design compared to similar rifles. This configuration ensures that the rifle not only meets the ballistic standards of the 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge but also delivers low recoil and exceptional accuracy. The SFAR boasts a collapsible Magpul SL stock and MOE grip, making it an ideal choice when prioritizing size and weight in the field.
Similar to the .308 Winchester models, the SFARs chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor feature a precisely tuned 4-position regulated gas block, a nitride-coated, cold hammer-forged barrel, and a 15-inch Magpul M-LOK handguard. These enhancements contribute to the overall performance and reliability of the rifle, ensuring that shooters can confidently rely on the Ruger Small-Frame Autoloading Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor for a variety of applications.
