PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Sig Sauer MCX-Spear LT IR chambered in 5.56 NATO features an innovative Cerakote Gen II IR Coating designed for reduced visibility under thermal or night vision use. The gas piston operated MCX-Spear is the civilian version of the U.S. Army’s advanced XM7 rifle. Based on the MCX Virtus, the MCX-SPEAR LT IR has a Tele-fold stock design, lightened handguard with attachment screws for additional rigidity, and a lightened profile 16" cold hammer forged carbon steel barrel for improved accuracy. Other features of the MCX-SPEAR LT IR include an ambidextrous bolt catch and release on its lower, minimalist folding stock, and Sig flat blade match trigger with AR15 compatibility. The MCX platform has long been SIG SAUER'S breeding ground for developing the best rifle system in the world through extensive testing and continued innovation. The MCX has received the nod from special forces groups from around the world.
