Vortex Micro 3x Magnifier With Quick Release Flip Mount

Only gripe is its a little chunky and wish it was slightly longer than chunkier to provide slightly longer eye relief

I’ve bought a few of this magnifier from simmon’s sporting goods at an excellent price. Fast shipping! as for the magnifier, it works great with my favorite red dot (amg uh-1). I suggest the magnifier if you’re looking and simmon’s is a great place to order.

With one exception everything about this magnifier is excellent. The diopter adjustment is nice and firm, keeping you from accidentally changing focus. The windage and elevation turrets have nice caps that double as tools to fine tune where your magnified dot or reticle sits. Flipping the magnifier to the side has solid retention as well as when flipped up for use. Glass is clear and seems to have very faint tinting if any. The only 'complaint' i'd have is the eye relief: which is short at 2.6". However, for most magnifiers in this size/class you'll have similar if not worse eye relief so i don't count it against this one. You'll likely have to remove your rear irons to use this magnifier. With all that said, i recommend the vortex 3x micro - it packs a lot into a small optic and the value for your money is really good. Ordering from simmons' was a great experience. Fast shipping with tracking, everything packed nicely. I'll be ordering from them again in the future for sure.

Great experience from simmons, and awesome little magnifier. Solid. Only complaint is that the quick release gets in the way of the charging handle if mounted far back. Would be almost perfect otherwise.

Have it paired up with my vortex optics strikefire ii red / green dot sights. !!! awesome combo on my ruger ar 556 !! researched on this awhile and decided on these for the quality and price ����

I know i had already left a review but it isn't here. Simmons just sent me another email to do a review and i have additional info. Now. Picked this up to replace the full size version. It is shorter/lighter. The tip over base is tension based instead of any lever to lock it in (may or may not be a bad thing, time will tell). Drops right in and lined up with the aim point. One drawback to consider. It is shorter and therefore moves it away from your eye if you also have iron sights. I have to move the buttstock in one or two clicks to get good eye relief. Was not a problem with the full size model. Food for thought. Glass is as clear as the full size and is good enough. Overall i'm ok with this magnifier. Fast shipping by simmons.
